- Sensation: Most clients describe the feeling as a quick, warm snap — similar to a rubber band flick. Treatments are well tolerated and quick.
- Treatment Time: Sessions can take anywhere from 15 to 90 minutes, depending on the number and size of areas treated.
- Downtime: Minimal. Some redness or warmth may appear after treatment but typically subsides within a few hours.
- Results: Expect finer, patchier regrowth after 2–3 sessions. For best results, a series of 6–10 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended.
Recommendations
To ensure optimal results and safety during your laser hair removal session, please follow these steps:
- Shave the treatment areas 24 hours before your appointment.
Shaving is available in-clinic for certain areas only (excluding private areas and face) for an additional fee. - Avoid using any products on the treatment area within 24 hours of your session. This includes creams, moisturizers, body oils, colognes, or perfumes.
- Remove all fake tan at least 24 hours before treatment. No residual product should be present on the skin.
- We do not laser over tattoos. However, treatment can be performed around tattoos, maintaining a 3 cm safety buffer.
- First-time clients must complete a complimentary consultation prior to booking, as certain medications may make this treatment inadvisable.
Because laser hair removal is light-sensitive, managing sun exposure is crucial:
- Avoid all sun exposure to the treatment areas for at least 2 weeks before your appointment.
- If you’ve had direct sun exposure (tanning or prolonged time outdoors, with or without SPF), wait 4 weeks before treatment.
- If you’ve had incidental sun exposure (e.g., time in the shade during sunny periods), wait at least 2 weeks before your session.
